  9. terminals, and returns from state and national races are received directly
  10. from newswires.  Current standings of any individual race or group of races
  11. can be monitored at any terminal, and changes are automatically updated at
  12. each inquiry terminal.  Race results can be sent to a character generator in
  13. any desired format for video display.  Automatic ranking of candidates and
  14. winner flagging is included.  Decision is currently in use at television
  15. stations throughout the United States and Canada.
